天宇公司成立於民國72年，最初從事視聽電機組裝。由於充分掌握住市場契機轉而生產開發行動電話週 邊產品配備。進而成為今日年營業額新台幣20餘億元，員工百餘人，行銷40餘國之公司。品質至上、盡善盡美是公司一直以來追求並遵守的政策，從產品研發→生產→製造→行銷，體貼客戶的需求並創造客戶的需求,中國昆山廠擁有30絛產線員工600餘人. 
於1996年獲得ISO 9001&14001認證。 


Initially founded in 1983, Formosa Electronic Industries Inc has been one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of cellular and cordless phones, notebook PCs, and camcorder accessories. With our products having an excellent reputation in worldwide markets reaching over 40 countries, we have Taipei facilities in Taiwan and Tian-Yu factory in China . 

For years, in view of the pursuit of quality, cost, and effectiveness, Formosa has developed a professional research team. In terms of facilities, there are AutoCAD, Pro/E tooling design computer network system, tooling factory, and a plastic injection molding factory. In terms of electronic design and production capacity for the internal resistance of single cell, capacity sorting, life testing for various battery characteristic computerized testing, analysis equipment, Li-Ion battery protection circuit, charger design and fuel gauge applications, can all be implemented in-house 

Our China factory has incorporated as the name Tian-Yu Communication Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. (Abr. Tian Yu) which was established in Aug. 1999, solely owned by FORMOSA at Kunshan Economic and Technology Development Zone, East Park Jiangsu province, China. The total investment is up to USD 868 million. Tian-Yu occupies an area of 80 acres with 578,000 square feet building and has over 1000+ employees and good R&D conditions. 

Tian-Yu is engaged in manufacturing notebook battery packs, cellular phone battery packs and chargers and peripheral products which are popular in over 40+ countries and regions all over the world. We have also worked with numerous OEM customers. Tian-Yu has gained ISO9001, cUL, CSA, CE, FCC, TUV/GS, E-Mark certifications.
