Founded in 1980 and listed on TWSE in 1991, Ho Tung over the years has become the largest surfactant manufacturer and supplier cross Asia. With locations in Taiwan and China—from Kaohsiung, Taiwan to Tianjin, Nanjing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Huizhou, Xiamen, Sichuan and Anhui—Ho Tung successfully established a complete manufacture and distribution chain where customers are able to obtain swift delivery and satisfactory services. All manufacturing facilities of the company are ISO 9002 and ISO14001-certified, a standard that ensures the company consistently creates products that meet customers’ needs and stand up to regulatory requirements, while continually working to improve both the products at hand, and customer satisfaction.

In addition to a further growth of core chemical business, Ho Tung is also dedicating to a vertical integration in supply chain to be more competitive. Ho Tung owns and invests in companies across tank storage, cement production, and air products.

和桐化學股份有限公司於1980年創立，1991年在台灣證券交易所以第一類股掛牌上市，除於台灣高雄設有正烷屬烴(NP)生產基地外，在1993年作為第一家至大陸投資石化廠的台灣企業，和桐先後建立位於天津、南京、上海、廣州、惠州、廈門、四川和安徽等地的據點，生產直鏈烷基苯(LAB)、直鏈烷基苯磺酸(LAS)及高級界面活性劑等產品，目前已是亞洲最大的界面活性劑原料供應商。
