• The Material Compliance Officer is part of the Global Material Compliance team, responsible for overseeing the compliance programs related to the Restricted Substances List (RSL) and ensuring that material compliance standards are upheld across the global manufacturing network. This role encompasses all products under Amer Sports brands, aiming to fulfill legal obligations, customer expectations, and company commitments while minimizing risks to consumers, the environment, the company, and its brands. • Oversee the Chemical Management Program, including the implementation of bluesign and the Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL), assist with material compliance corrective action plans, manage the cotton origin identification program, and track and report supplier material compliance. • Responsible for distributing, communicating, and providing ongoing training on the corporate chemical management policy to brands, mills, vendors, and supply chain partners. Act as a technical resource for business partners regarding RSL/MRSL compliance requirements. • Identify regulatory risks for management and develop plans to ensure compliance and reduce potential risks. • Manage supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess chemical compliance performance and facilitate integration with the material sourcing system. • Oversee the RSL testing program, ensuring effective communication among suppliers, brands, and external laboratories; validate RSL testing reports, certificates, and remediation actions for RSL non-compliance. • Provide support for onsite factory audits related to chemical management and RSL compliance as needed. • Assist brands and material compliance teams in researching sustainable or green chemistries for material sourcing.

Lead lab-dip process to secure best color consistency and material dyeing quality performance through the apparel and accessories range. Assist material team on continuous improvement and transversal projects. 1) Process Management: Conduct color development, lab dips approval, 1st bulk approval and performance evaluation of vendors, including but not limited to submitting timely lab dips and 1st bulk to ensure all submits meet specified quality specs and the submit process is in accordance with current required procedures 2) Vendor Management: Build and maintain working relationships with vendors, including regular vendor visits for reviewing subsequence lot control and discussing color development and actively seeking their input / suggestion for problem colors 3) Process Compliance: Issue requests and keep all tracking tools accurate and updated within given seasonal timelines, including but not limited to issuing lab dip request, tracking lab dip submits, tracking first production submits, maintaining accurate color records and maintaining local approval history files 4) Communication: Actively communicate with appropriate matrix and vendor to ensure most current information are released and all parties understand expectations. 5) Vendor Performance Management: Monitor and compile seasonal vendor performance specifics including but not limited to timeliness and adherence to specs on submits and number of submits required for approval, which are used for seasonal vendor performance reviews 6) Support: Participate as needed in performance reviews and work with Materials Management on process improvement plan and help to implement corrective actions. Serve as a technical adviser to the relevant parties. 7) Teamwork: Assist Material Manager when necessary on fact finding, special projects and miscellaneous issues related to color 8) Do calibration testing in each supplier to confirm that their spectrophotometer’s results are within tolerance. Help suppliers achieve the lab accreditation of our company. 9) Correctly store the color standards and approvals and mange related documents with HQ CMF team. 10) Internally communicate with CMF team and QA team for color validation in case of challenging approval situation.
