• Work in a team developing components that support Winbro advanced machine technologies. • Customise configuration to customers specification. • Perform code reviews and testing. • Perform product testing on your own and third-party code • Write and maintain development documentation such as specifications, test plans and design documentation. • Help lead incremental change and improvement in the software function as we look to adopt better working practises. • Other duties associated with the position.

• Mission to increase business revenue and technology using laser processing, both for Winbro‘s machine tool systems and for component manufacturing. • Develop internal laser applications trials to support marketing, sales, and tradeshows. • Develop customer requested laser applications trials and testing to support further additional future business opportunities • In collaboration with the sales team, monitor trends in the laser and optics industry to leverage and implement technologies to support Winbro growth. • Assist in the production of feasibility studies/business plans for new product development. Identify and report any shortcomings of product offerings to help with future products. • Majority of time expected to be in Winbro‘s laser application laboratory and technology center. At times, customer support and internal service/continuous improvement support will be required. • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager on a permanent/temporary basis. • Demonstrate knowledge and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior. • Other duties associated with the position.

• Specification and design of machine tool assemblies, systems, and associated tooling and ancillary equipment including production of detail drawings, BOM’s and assembly drawings • Liaison with suppliers (internal and external) to ensure externally sourced components are cost-effectively manufactured to meet design requirements • Work concurrently with the production engineering teams to ensure Design for Manufacture • Work concurrently with the sourcing teams to ensure bought out parts can be sourced at the right price and availability • Ensure designs are mechanically sound and enable the machine specification requirements to be met • Provide mechanical input and content for product documentation (manuals and technical construction/certification files) • Other duties associated with the position.

• Specification and design of the electrical aspects of machine tool assemblies, systems, and associated tooling and ancillary equipment including production of detail drawings, BOM’s and assembly drawings • Liaison with suppliers (internal and external) to ensure externally sourced components are cost-effectively manufactured to meet design requirements • Work concurrently with the production engineering teams to ensure Design for Manufacture • Work concurrently with the sourcing teams to ensure bought out parts can be sourced at the right price and availability • Ensure designs are electrically sound and enable the machine specification requirements to be met • Coordinate and input to the generation of technical construction/certification files and associated safety analysis and risk assessments • Provide relevant content for machine manuals and other associated documentation • Other duties associated with the position.
