      Roles / Responsibilities:

      • Acts as the single point of leadership accountability to drive all business testing activities for assigned programs, projects or product implementations (including oversight of testing by other units if applicable)

      In accordance with Ch 1 Section 2H of the Global Consumer Credit and Fraud Policies, the Country Risk Manager (CRM) of the Taiwan Consumer Business proactively manages the credit exposure of the Taiwan retail lending portfolios through each step of the credit process. Proactive modifications to the target market, establishment and management of the risk appetite framework and statement, acquisition and portfolio management programs, underwriting standards and policies, collateral and verification criteria must be set (after approval from the appropriate credit authority) based on performance trends, collections/fraud feedback, customer experience requirements, changes in the operating environment, competitor landscape, etc. The position reports directly to the Consumer Business Manager (CBM) of Taiwan and matrix to the Group Risk Director of Independent Risk, Asia Consumer. 

       

      The role is complex considering the product lines (secured, unsecured and margin lending products), high number of accounts, highly competitive and commoditized market that has also seen a slew of regulations that have dynamically changed the business environment. 

       

      Key Responsibilities: 

      •Manage the credit quality and the performance of the retail lending portfolio which comprises of a wide range of products with reasonably sized portfolios. Cards and Mortgages are long standing business with suitable scale.  

      •Establish and manage the risk appetite framework and appetite of the portfolios. Working in partnership with the business units, define the target market, determine the business strategy and the set of performance and return metrics that comply with corporate standards and are appropriate to the local operating environment.  

      •Design, implement and monitor the effectiveness of the credit policies and where warranted, adjust credit policies to ensure performance and return are in accordance with established risk appetite statement. Ensure that the policies are in full compliance with global corporate policies, governing regulations and where required, document and obtain approval for exceptions.  

      •Possess a comprehensive understanding of the local operating environment (e.g. market, competition, economy, political, legal, regulatory) and its impact on the portfolios.

Your role is to orchestrate the deliveries of the departments involved which are required for proto types, pilots and volume readiness towards supply chain while involving all relevant internal teams and suppliers. The prime focus of this job is on QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Costs) for all complex parts and complex multi-tiered Supply Chain.  

       

      Job Description  

      In this job you will be managing projects and internal and external stakeholders within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement department, with a focus on the HMI E-beam systems in the location Tainan.  

       

      Responsibilities:  

      * Monitoring & driving end to end project execution across line functions and across suppliers according to ASML’s Product Generation Process.  

      * Providing Supply Chain integrated planning throughout all project phases towards Business Lines, Product Development Management, Procurement, Development & Engineering and Logistics.  

       

      Deliverables:  

      * Supply Management deliverables: Complex Part List, Make and Buy Decisions, Supplier Selection, Contracting Suppliers, QLTC target setting & realization, Supplier Cost.  

      * Development & Engineering Supply Chain Engineering deliverables: Statement of Work, Manufacturing Flow, FMEA, TPD Acceptance by Supplier, Proto Evaluation, Test -Coverage Documents, Parts Quality Report and Costing (PP3).  

      * Supply Logistics deliverables: Move Rate, Capacity, Flexibility and Cycle Time  

       

      Education  

      A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or technical specialization.  

       

      Experience  

      * 4 to 6 years of experience in project- or program management or complex large-scale projects, preferably in a product creation process.  

      * Experience in supply chain management or procurement is a preference.

      e.Lead the team to drive suppliers to meet the Corporate KPI 

      *New Product Development:  

      a.Supplier Selection– Understand company’s requirements on suppliers and their delivery targets, and search for suitable suppliers from current supplier base or new suppliers from related industries. Work in conjunction with Quality and Engineering to determine suitability of suppliers in selection process. 

      b.Supplier Development and Setup - Develop industrial knowledge and find qualified new suppliers into company‘s supplier base. Work in conjunction with Quality and Engineering to determine development areas and plans to complete, including responsibilities and timing for all involved. Audit new suppliers and negotiate trade terms.  

      c.Supplier Management - Own company‘s business relationship with suppliers, and manage suppliers’ business operation toward company’s requirements. Work with other teams such as quality, supply planning and engineering team, to plan and arrange suppliers delivery targets towards suit company‘s quality, cost and lead-time requirements. 

      d.Supplier Quotation - Request supplier for quotation of new products. Working with reliability/quality and engineering teams to clarify specs, performance and reliability expectations with suppliers. Study supplier cost break down. Compose final quotation for supplier selection on new product development. 

      e.Cost Negotiation –Develop expertise knowledge on material, processes (optimization & fallout) and engineering cost analysis. Compare supplier quote of cost with industrial norm, and negotiate supplier cost towards win-win situation with suppliers. Utilize Factory Purchasing Team to uncover all opportunities to use internal knowledge and spend leverage to assist suppliers in driving lower component costs. Work with SCM team to control the material cost and delivery targets. 

      f.Payments - Process payment requisitions for tooling, NRE, etc. 

      *Existing Product:  

      a.On-Time Delivery – Mitigate on time delivery risks when they occur. Step in when Global Supply Chain or Regional Businesses need help in order pull-ins and push-outs delivery schedules. Coordinate information and changes so OPD can manage PO impacts and logistics arrangements. Work with supplier on long lead time component buffers when necessary. 

      b.Productivity – Work with Asia Purchasing management team to understand and negotiate on commodity movements, supplier consolidation, etc. 

      c.Cost Down and Continuous Re-engineering - Work with product support/value engineering and supplier process engineering teams to drive initiatives for cost down of existing products. Work with product support engineering team to drive for any initiatives needed for existing products, such as EOL components or new material phase-in. 

      d.MSA – Trade term updates and negotiation. 

      e.Payments – Work with Finance when suppliers complain about payments delay
