Role and responsibilities As a Logistics Supplier Manager, you are responsible to drive Logistics Management and Operational Performance of a selected number of key suppliers in the ASML Logistics supply chain. The continuously increasing business demands make this a challenge. You’ll work to provide a reliable, responsive and robust global supply chain network which delivers materials to the factory and the field at the right moment, in the right quantity and quality against the lowest integral costs. Your main responsibilities as a Logistics Supplier Manager are: Drive Operational Excellence Performance at suppliers and their n-tier suppliers, securing 95% on-time delivery performance to ASML. Securing sufficient capacity at your suppliers to facilitate the ASML growth. Optimize manufacturing processes at suppliers to own and drive material availability crisis to a successful outcome. Represent Logistics as member of Supplier Account Team. Lead a cross sectoral team for several projects. Work with ASML stakeholders to shape our future supply chain. Drive process improvements at suppliers; actively participating in improvement projects at suppliers. Education and experience To help us tackle the challenges we face, you have: A master’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar. 10+ years relevant work experience in similar roles with international scope or in a production logistics environment. Experience in improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing / supply chain environment. Experience in (supplier-) account management. Introduction to the job Manages the supply chain and other internal processes influencing the material availability. Redefine master data settings for “volume” ordering. Moving upstream in the process, by actively taking over “pilot” parts (not necessarily meeting all R4V criteria) Managing plan and product-changes (EC’s): 1.Analyze on demand 2.Change purchase orders within financial guidelines (SOX compliant) 3.Advisory role for demand control in checking feasibility on plan changes together with the supplier 4.Support Procurement with cancellation of Purchase Orders 5.More and more take over responsibility of PLM of EC-changes before it is implemented. 6.Responsible for managing the product changes effected by RIO (Release In Order): 7.Define the cluster possibilities and costs with the supplier and advise the project (before the EC is closed) 8.Manage shortages and over planned caused by RIO and advise the RIO team concerning the costs and changed clusters (after EC is closed) Infrastructure 1.Master data; responsible for the correct logistic parameters for the assigned parts and the maintenance of these parameters. 2.Point out discrepancies on master data settings to the responsible department in case Material Planner isn’t responsible (e.g. info record, duration of material contract) 3.Supplier relations; routine communication including conference call to improve and maintain logistic performance with suppliers 4.Internal relations, improve and maintain internal processes 5.Member in SAT, responsible for logistic paragraph in supplier performance. 6.Adapt, implement and maintain new supply chain strategies at suppliers and the internal settings as agreed with Logistic Strategy Analyze and communication 1.Inventory control, manage inventory level to an agreed target 2.Communication and reporting, report relevant KPI’s Responsible for the Material Availability, analysis and improvement actions Education and experience Bachelor in Industrial Engineering/ Business Management 3-7 years’ experience material planning in a manufacturing environment (preferably equipment manufacturing industry) Skills Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
