      Responsibilities  

       

      Operational Risk Management  

       

      - Plan, design and implement an overall operation risk management process for the organization in order to mitigate risk  

      - Develop framework, policies and system in order to better manage risk  

      - Monitor and assess the effectiveness and implementation of risk management processes across the organization in order to seek for continual improvement  

       

      Incident Management & Reporting  

       

      - Provide advice and recommendation to business unit managers in order to better manage the incidents  

      - Report and escalate of significant operational risk events in order to ensure management keep informed with the identified risk  

      - Maintain risk register in order to monitor progress status of risk items being identified  

       

      Business Continuity Management  

      - Plan and design business continuity framework in order to enhance the resilience of the organization.  

      - Advise and provide recommendation to business unit managers on business continuity plan in order to help ensure continuity of service delivery  

       

      Access Control  

       

      - Administer, assess, evaluate and facilitate respective department request on application and IT related request in order to ensure request made is valid for company benefit as well as data protection  

       

      People & Team Management  

       

      - Oversee team, providing leadership and guidance, planning and organizing resources in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives.  

      - Design, develop and sustain the Operational Risk team and employee performance, engagement and development in accordance to the Company‘s values, principles and policies.  

       

      Policy Governance  

       

      - Implement and Sustain the necessary internal Operational Risk guidelines to support the overall objectives set for services expected by the MD and the company‘s clients.  

      - Advise to other stakeholder‘s policies, processes and guidelines from an Operational Risk perspective which can impact onto services provided by the company to its clients.  

       

      Requirements  

       

      - Relevant University Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Banking, Risk/Insurance or similar education  

      A Combination of risk related training/memberships with professional risk institutions and experience may be considered in lieu of a relevant degree.  

      - At least 6-8 years of risk working experiences in which 2-3 years of prior risk advisory, operational risk and business continuity management at a junior to mid management level  

      - Knowledgeable of risk management framework, methodologies and concepts/project management/client business industry  

      - Excellent written and spoken languages : English and another Asia Language, able to work in a mandarin environment  

      - Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills  

      - Experienced in managing and influencing stakeholders  

      - Possess solid understanding of risk management and sound operational risk practices  

      - Posses strong analytical skills with ability to reference against standards, highlight anomalies and assess key risk drivers  

      - Strong hand on experience in operational risk management framework, methologies and risk assessment  

      - Proactive and able to work independently  

      - Self-initiative and Ownership

    • Risk Profiling (Snr Specialist)

      This position is to be based in Makati City – The company is an International, fast paced, progressive & forward thinking operation that is very active in the Asia and UK markets. Due to rapid growth in the business we are now recruiting for the following.  

       

      Responsibilities  

       

      - Providing mentoring and execution of BAU task/inquires, investigation of root cause in order to deliver high quality recommendations to internal stakeholder  

       

      - Support various business partners and internal stakeholders email/chat inquiries from internal departments  

       

      - Identifies problems and presents written solutions ensuring accuracy and validity of information.  

       

      - Investigates and based on established rules and takes action to prevent fraudulent financial transactions to mitigate loss to the business and its customers  

       

      - Review and documenting process flows and updating procedure manuals for the functions performed, to enhance and fine tune existing business processes in order to facilitate more robust controls  

       

      - Responsible for the implementation and reviewing of the Key Control Self Assessment (KCSA) process, sampling and testing the population of controls to ensure compliance with agreed control standards as well as facilitating the monitoring/collection of any Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).  

       

      - Assist in the reviewing the member life cycle of the client‘s customer in order to effectively design monitoring triggers and recommend appropriate treatments.  

       

      - Contributing to the development of re-engineering methods to improve processes, reduce risks, increase controls and/or increase customer satisfaction.  

       

      - Provide robust analysis and insight by identifying risk and trends in order to present monthly reports.  

       

      - Work with peers and senior team members to identify, design, and develop ad hoc reports and new reporting techniques using multiple reporting systems to generate potential case leads and identify new types of fraudulent activities.  

       

      - Reviews and analyzes fraud reports, validating suspected items against established rules.  

       

      - Share fraud trends with senior team members to jointly develop fraud rules and strategies to improve fraud detection accuracy.  

       

      - Participate in required compliance trainings in order to satisfy regulatory and business partner‘s requirements.  

       

      Requirements:-  

       

      - University degree preferably in Business Management, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or Sciences  

       

      - Related certificate (AML Certificate) is a plus.  

       

      - Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in operational risk management, financial/credit/trading risk, internal control, fraud control, compliance or similar functions.  

       

      - A clear understanding of the risk-based approach to the management of operational risk, enterprise risk, fraud risk and compliance, or equivalent experience gained in other organizations.  

       

      - Knowledge and understanding of best practices for risk processes  

       

      - Knowledge of AML concepts  

       

      - Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting  

       

      - Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills  

       

      - Experienced in 1st line of assurance experience who will be able to write risk policies, implement controls and monitor the effectiveness of KRI‘s.  

       

      - Meticulous  

       

      - Sound judgment and courage necessary to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships  

       

      - Team player whilst able to work independently  

       

      - Excellent inter-personal skills  

       

      - Excellent knowledge of English and Mandarin will be an advantage
