A well-established cosmetic and beauty packaging trading company in Asia with offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China is hiring for the role of Purchasing Merchandiser based in our Taiwan office.
Join our experienced team managing orders and schedules from global clients in the cosmetic and beauty industry. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers and clients to place and confirm orders and manage shipment schedules. You will be responsible for working closely with factories to ensure production is on schedule, shipment dates and price negotiation as required.
You will also work closely with internal quality, shipping, development and project management departments to coordinate schedules and ensure your clients’ needs are met.

The tasks and responsibilities are:
•To be primary point of contact for the customer, selling company services across business units (Seafreight, Airfreight, Overland) with a specific focus on the assigned business unit
•To closely cooperate with operations to develop and apply specialized knowledge relative to the assigned business unit and trade lane (where applicable) and liaise on pricing preparation.
•To develop spot and regular opportunities with existing and new customers.
•To focus on customer retention engagement on assigned account portfolio.
•To preparing and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations , negotiations and contracts.
•To input and timely update of sales activities utilizing system.
•To ensure proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with customer requirements and internal procedures.
•To complete all required sales activities (calls, visits, leads, opportunities).
•To focus on and develop new / existing customer targets.
In charge of reception area and assist in office administration to keep daily administrative operation smoothly
Your tasks and responsibilities:
•Development of Exhibition & Event business from and to Taiwan
•Build up and keep good relations with potential exhibition organizers and agents
•Personal sales activities
•Obtain official appointments for exhibitions in Taiwan and for overseas pavilions
•Follow up with customs clearances / licenses
•Profit & Loss responsibility
•Handle billing and outstanding collection
•To be active to find new business on the market
•Enhance good reputation of company‘s Expo service to gain more appointments
