The Smart AR Glasses Program Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development and delivery of smart augmented reality (AR) glasses. This role includes managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful launch of innovative AR glasses products. The Program Lead will drive the project from concept through production, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
o Lead and manage the entire product lifecycle of smart AR glasses from concept to launch.
o Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
o Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
2. Cross-functional Team Leadership:
o Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including hardware and software engineering, design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
o Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
o Ensure alignment between different departments and resolve conflicts when necessary.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
o Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
o Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.
4. Technical Oversight:
o Oversee the technical development of AR glasses, ensuring the product meets design specifications and performance standards.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest AR technologies and trends to drive innovation.
o Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to engineering teams.
5. Product Strategy and Planning:
o Contribute to the strategic planning of AR product lines.
o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions.
o Define product features, specifications, and user experience in collaboration with product management and design teams.
6. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance processes are in place.
o Oversee the resolution of technical issues and ensure high-quality product delivery.
7. Budget and Resource Management:
o Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively.
o Monitor expenditures and ensure the project stays within budget.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
o Maintain comprehensive project documentation including specifications, schedules, and progress reports.
