Data Center Operation Technician

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast-paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. We are looking for senior technical engineers who are interested in joining an elite team and eager to learn the skills necessary to maintain one of the world‘s largest IT infrastructures in AWS Data Centers. 

Key job responsibilities 

•7x24 roster duty in data center operations 

•Incident first responder and onsite hands-on support 

•Break-fix and troubleshoot technical issues on all systems, hardware and network devices 

•Develop and customize local process guidelines to enhance operations efficiency 

•Take up small scale local initiative and deliver according to agreed timeline 

•Capacity landing and decommissioning 

•Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline 

•Network cabling include optics, fiber and copper cables 

•Enforce Amazon Security and Safety policies and best practice 

•Site management and operation 

•Innovate and contribute from day-to-day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency.
