[About Garmin Supply Chain Team]
Quick response on every orders, provide delivery schedule and logistic service is our mission. To achieve this target, we constructed management process and control appropriate KPIs. The management process can be classified to 5 scopes, and is including demand planning, production planning, material planning, service planning and logistic service management. For managing this huge supply chain process, we used automatic reports, to show the key issues/information timely, and take action on time. Then, to fulfill customer demand by using efficient way.
[Job Detail] – Set up proper inventory level, and fulfill plan requirement (Material planning)
1. Define proper safety stock policy based on products, material types, lead times, material risk levels and suppliers.
2. Coordinate Materials’ transition - Engineering change order control, Marketing request and Inventory status
3. Provide timing analysis on shortage or excess material, and take quick response/action for with whole supply chain participants
4. Inventory Management – Suggest warehouse space arrangement, logistic flow
