The role:
As a member of a high-performing team in the Commercial Section of the Australian Office in Taipei, the ideal candidate identifies, develops, and promotes Australian food and beverage products in Taiwan, and supports other team members with their sectors as required.
Duties include
Deliver professional individual and group export services to Australian food and beverage exporters, including:
• strategic market entry advice based on market conditions and the regulatory environment
• connecting qualified Australian exporters to business networks within major importers, distributors, associations and government agencies
• influencing key decision makers and consumers through physical and online promotional campaigns, business events, seminars and webinars
• contributing to market insights and the publication of high-quality market research and analysis
• managing projects with team members located across the globe
• Collaborate with other government agencies located in the Australian Office and in Australia, including State and Territory governments and peak industry bodies
• Work as part of a dynamic food and beverage team to contribute to the annual business plan; including the achievement of team and individual activities and outcomes
• Support other Business Development Managers in other sectors during surge periods
• Maintain Austrade standards and policies, including diversity in the workplace, ethical business practice and compliance with governance requirements.
• Contribute to knowledge creation within Austrade through information sharing best practice and on-the-job and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold the Austrade Public Service (APS) Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct and Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles.
