Mobile 軟體工程師 (Android Apps)

Overview 

Garmin Taiwan is seeking a full-time Embedded Product Security Software Engineer to join our Product Security team. This role is an opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies that power Garmin’s consumer products. You will be responsible for developing and integrating software solutions to secure diverse products across our business portfolio. We welcome passionate, self-motivated, and creative engineers with strong software development skills and an interest in cybersecurity. 

Essential Functions 

-Fluent in English (TOEIC score 800 or above) ; able to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.  

-Design, develop, maintain, and integrate embedded security protections in C/C++. 

-Develop and integrate security tooling throughout the software development lifecycle. 

-Participate actively in code reviews. 

-Provide reliable solutions using sound problem-solving techniques. 

-Perform technical root cause analysis and define corrective actions. 

-Conduct advanced technical research into new technologies. 

-Estimate effort, evaluate technology options, suggest process improvements, and provide feedback on electrical design. 

-Mentor and support less experienced software engineers. 

Basic Qualifications 

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

-Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python. 

-Experience with software engineering best practices, including peer reviews and continuous integration. 

Desired Qualifications 

-Strong academic record (cumulative GPA ≥ 3.5). 

-Previous experience developing embedded systems. 

-Experience with secure product development (e.g., threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing). 

-Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (NIST, ISO, CIS, EU RED, etc.).

【工作範圍】  

開發REST APIs 

撰寫unit test 

依功能需求設計/實作大流量跨國系統 

以英文撰寫文件和不同國家的工程師, QA, PM, UX溝通 

【工作需求】  

1. 精通Java(Spring Framework, SpringBoot) 或任一種物件導向語言  

2. 資料庫設計- 關聯式(Oracle/MS SQL/MySQL) 或 No SQL(Elasticsearch, HBase)  

3. 版本控制-Git或SVN 

4. TOEIC 700+ 或同等英文能力 

5. 需與國外同事開會

7. 加分-具備微服務架構開發經驗, 熟悉Docker, 分散式messaging system (Kafka, RMQ), 分散式caching system (Memcached, Redis)

【工作內容/角色】 

1. 設計及實作 Garmin 官方 iOS Apps，釐清與修正問題，以維護 App 的品質。 

2. 與全球的工程師、UX 設計師及 PM 團隊合作完成專案。 

3. 審查程式碼 (code review)，重構系統以改進設計、可讀性、可用性，以及效率。 

【具備條件】 

1. 資訊相關碩士畢業 

2. 擁有三年以上的 iOS 工作經驗 

3. 熟悉Swift 、演算法、資料結構與設計模式 (Design Patterns)。 

4. 有獨立解決問題的能力、能批判性思考、有良好的除錯與分析技能。 

5. 有中大型應用產品的開發與設計經驗 (iOS App 尤佳)。 

6. 具備英文溝通 (TOEIC 700+) 與團隊合作能力。 

【加分條件】 

1. 熟悉 Asynchronous Programming尤佳，如Swift Concurrency、Combine 等。 

2. 熟悉 Declarative UI尤佳: SwiftUI 。

Job Role： 

資訊服務開創者—IT Application Engineer

Responsibilities: 

1.Internal platform related to business flow management and data integration 

2.Agile software development life cycle management, CICD execution 

3.Provide quality web application service, including AI feature 

Requirements: 

1.Programming – 2+ year experience with any WEB design / programing is required (Java, JavaScript, Sprint Boot or any web container and framework) 

2.Database – Must have knowledge in relational database, NoSQL experience is a plus 

3.Soft Skill – Need to be a good team player with great communication skill. 

4.Data Science – Nice to have some experience in data analysis (QLIK / CUBE)  

5.Language – Oral communication skill in English is a plus. (TOEIC 700+) 

Plus: 

1.MES related project development experience. 

2.AI/ML application related project experience.
