    Responsibilities: 

     

    1. Championing Technological Excellence: 

     

    (1) Optimization Wizardry: Ensure the A14 program excels by harmonizing process requirements across performance, yield, reliability, and manufacturability through strategic process integration and baseline maintenance. 

    (2) Design & Validation Expertise: Lead the tape-out process and rigorously test key designs to validate design rules, refine electrical modeling, and elevate yield outcomes. 

    (3) Benchmarks & Characterization: Analyze and characterize the electrical performance relative to the process, establish SPICE modeling benchmarks, and perform selective bench measurements to guarantee precision and quality.

    Electrical RC and Electromagnetic tool related work: 

     

    1. Work with TCAD, device and model team to simulate electrical phenomenon by 3D Quasi-Static field solvers or 3D Full-Wave Electromagnetic (EM) field solvers to come out device parasitic RC, interconnect parasitic RCLK (R: resistance, C: capacitance, L: self-inductance, K: mutual-inductance) network or passive device S-parameter/sub-circuit models for digital transient and high speed/frequency circuit simulations. 

    2. Collaborate with EDA partners to enable required features and target accuracy for RC extraction tools. 

    3. Develop RC collaterals to meet customers’ tape-out requirements. 

    4. Analyze RC accuracy issues, perform process and performance impact analysis, and provide novel and effective solutions. 

     

    RC software related work: 

     

    1. RC extraction utility development from LVS database handling, pattern matching to final RC netlist. 

    2. Define software architecture, specification, algorithms, and functions for future extensions on novel device structures. 

    3. Software pseudocode and final coding development and maintenance. 

    4. Interface definition and development among TSMC RC utility and EDA RC tools. 

    5. Build regression and QA system.

    Responsibilities: 

     

    Apply advanced computational models to predict performance, optimize structure and doping profile, and provide improvement directions in nano-scaled device technologies. 

    Develop and apply finite element method (FEM) modelling, including but not limited to stress simulations, computational fluid-dynamics, thermal conductivity simulations and electromagnetic wave simulations, for both macroscopic (tool/wafer) and microscopic (discrete device) structures.

    The Role: 

     

    Are you passionate about the logistics and supply chain management for one of the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing in the world? 

    TSMC is looking for a Supply Chain Logistic Management Engineer to work on optimizing cost-efficiency, smart operations and green transportation. As our Logistics and Supply Chain Management Engineer, you will not only conduct warehouse operation management, but also help us achieve supply chain excellent performance by continually improvement projects/tasks, including automation warehouse design, robotic process automation, vendor management, and process improvement projects. 

     

    Major Work Focus: 

     

    1. Warehouse operation owner to process improvement project/task: 

    Continually improve the efficiency and quality of daily operation. 

    Logical thinking and problem solving ability to systematically solve daily challenge. 

    2. Cross functional enhancement project(s) for supply chain excellence: 

    Collaborate with supply chain colleagues, including material planner, procurement, and wasted material team to meet excellent supply chain performance. 

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

     

    1. Lead/coordinate cross functional to achieve supply chain excellence. 

    2. Initiate and implement continuous logistics and warehouse process improvement project/task.

    Organization Introduction: 

     

    We are power grid design and sign-off team for digital design inside TSMC. The mission is to develop power grid design and co-optimize with semiconductor process in advanced technology nodes for most updated commercial design contents (CPU, GPU, SoC, etc.) 

    Our power grid designs are references for worldwide 1st Tier design houses. 

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    1. Develop power grid structure for most updated commercial design contents (CPU, GPU, SoC, etc.) and check IR/EM (Electron-Migration) performance. 

    2. Provide design solutions for IR/EM and routing optimization. 

    3. Co-work with process R&D for process tuning to achieve better PDN (Power Delivery Network) design. 

    4. Support TSMC advanced process node test chip PDN sign-off checks, including PDN quality check, static/dynamic IR sign-off, and EM sign-off for successful chip tape-out. 

    5. Provide guidance and suggestion to PnR (Place and Route) designer on PDN issue fixing.

    1. Develop state-of-the-art applications 

    2. Continue to refactor existing applications 

    3. Write and pass various kinds of tests (unit/feature/integration) to ensure software quality 

    4. Apply software design principles, such as 12-factor app, to ensure software quality 

    5. Ensure sustainability and performance of applications by working with SRE to define SLI/SLO and providing metrics for monitoring/alerting 

    6. Collaborate with peers in design, pair programming and code reviews 

    7. Willing to learn new IT technology
